Continuous Passive Motion—Shoulder

The Kinex Anatomical CPM (KS2) is a device for post-operative continuous passive motion and for rehabilitation of the shoulder joint. The KS2 incorporates head and shoulder positioning to ensure correct position repeatability. A fully adjustable CPM arm allows for anatomical alignment. These functions combined with Kinex advanced software set a new standard in functional shoulder CPM therapy available only from your Kinex Medical representative.

EROM Repeat Mode
(End Range of Motion Repeat)
Targeted end range of motion is repeated to maximize CPM use time. Appropriate tissues are stressed and 6 hours of treatment can be achieved in approximately 3 hours of targeted treatment.

Progressive Stretch Mode
Progressive stretch is applied at the end range to gain ROM from a stiff shoulder joint. The KS2 features 25 different load reversal settings to ensure tissue is not over-stretched.
(Protocol: 1 full cycle; 10 stretch cycles up 5° beyond end range).

ISO Mode
Two separate motions are performed but never simultaneously. An example: first 10 cycles of abduction followed by 10 cycles of external rotation are performed to allow full isolated ROM.

Controlled Synchronization Mode
Patient safety is ensured during coordinated external rotation/abduction or internal rotation/adduction movements.
