Mission Statement: Effectiveness, simplicity, and peace of mind are the foundation for our orthopedic rehabilitation program.
Kinex provides Phase I Rehabilitation utilizing unique CPM devices that improve safety and outcomes in the most cost-effective environment, the patients' home.
Post-operative rehabilitation generally consists of three phases: - Phase I, acute protective phase, controls post-operative pain and inflammation, protects the healing repair or procedure, and focuses on passive motion exercise.
- Phase II, sub-acute or recovery phase, is initiated following tissue healing and involves active-assistive exercise, active exercise and light strengthening.
- Phase III, functional phase, maximizes strengthening and sports, return-to-work and functional related exercises.
Kinex designs and manufactures specialty devices that provide passive motion by a Kinex representative in a patients’ home during the first phase of rehabilitation. Passive motion is provided post-operatively to counter the negative effects of immobilization, manage post-operative pain, reduce inflammation, stimulate soft tissue healing and cartilage regeneration while protecting the repaired soft tissue.
